NUCLEAR DEAL WITH USA SHOULD BE DEFEATED

Dr. Heptulla:

You are writing to prove your importance. I know India's Constitution fairly well, as much as a Citizen should know and certainly better than the present President of India. All said and done it is the best written document even though Ambedkar disowned it.

If there are flaws in it, instead of giving your routine ruling, you, as the Dy. Chairperson, should have given a speaking ruling emphasising the need to change that particular Article (which once again you have not quoted).

I know change in Constitution requires 2/3rd voting. In coalition politics, Parliamentarians can vote cutting across the party lines. And here is the right time to bring about the change in that faulty provision which says the Parliament cannot ratify, rectify, change the bureaucratic bungling.

Therefore, take an initiative and emerge a leader.

Speaker Somnath Chatterjee is wrong because instead of giving a lead, this senior politician with a legal background is expressing his helplessness. Instead of guiding the nation, he is throwing up his hands and you are defending him whereas your party's V.K.Malhotra is advising Communists to bite rather than bark. Bringing down a Govt. at this stage is NOT the priority, but defeating the sell-out to US is.

Let us come back to the topic proper. The N-deal with USA or 123 agreement should be rejected in nation's interest, in humanity's interest. Do not for a minute divert from this main point.

Dr Rebello

I don't think that I am bound to reply to your email but as you are interested in this subject I think I will explain it to you there are a number of countries in their constitution it is mentioned that every agreement or treaty signed by the Govt has to be rectified by the their parliament it is not so in our constitution and the framers of the constitution during the discussion in the constituent assembly did not consider necessary to have this provision and till our constitution is amended and a new clause is added this provision is not there and under the present provision I gave my ruling I wish you spend some time andread the constitution. To amend the constitution you need two third majority which no party or coalition has that majority so now nothing can be done. When I said emotion I meant how ever I or you fell we have to go by the constitution and the rules for you information I had moved a private members bill to amend the and include this provision but the bill did come for discussion, in any case private members bill do not get passed as they will never have the required no of votes. I am happy that you are interested in the working of our parliament and the system we follow in our country you may read the debates of the constituent assembly it will help you to understand you better the various provisions.

Dr. Najma Heptulla,

MP former Dy. Chairperson of Rajya Sabha, New Delhi

Dear Dr. Najma Heptulla:

1..Thank you for your comments below.

2..However, you have NOT said under which article our Constitution saysthat the agreements signed "unilaterally" by pliable persons like Manmohan Singh cannot be ratified or rejected by the "supreme" parliament of "We, thePeople".

3.. If the Parliament is NOT supreme then logically some babus like Manmohan Singh can sell/destroy the country. Then it means we do not have a democracy.

4.. If US can cancel the signed 123 agreement and we cannot cancel, ratify or reject, then it is arbitrary and hence untenable in law. Arbitrariness leads to emergency and dictatorship.

5.. For the same reason your ruling is NOT proper and if Somnathda is quoting that ruling to justify his inaction or subvert nation's interest then I am sorry, I do NOT agree with you.

6.. It is NOT the question of emotions or ideologies here. That is howpersons like you, who belong to political parties and bound by whips andin the habit of agreeing with the "Leader" (dealer) think.

7.. I am a fiercely independent statesman. I think how our "decisions"will affect the future of humanity. N-deal agreement with the known terrorist will lead to holocaust of the worst kind once India is pocketed in the nuclear net.

8.. I want you to re-think on this rather than tell me our constitution allows the prime minister to sell the nation's interest, while theParliamentarians of the country stand mutely. If indeed such a provision exists in our constitution, then I am afraid we need to change that provision rather thango by your illogical ruling as the Dy. Chairperson of the Rajya Sabha. Now I suppose you will understand why our Constitution says that the Vice President and the President of India should be above party politics.

Notwithstanding our disagreements,
my best wishes,
Dr. Leo Rebello
World Peace Envoy

To Mr. Somnath Chatterjee,
Speaker, Lok Sabha,
Mr. George Fernandes, former Defense Minister, New Delhi
and other Indian leaders and chiefs of main political parties.

Dear Mr. Somnath Chatterjee:

We respected you so far for your erudition, dedication, thinking of nation first. But after reading your quote in today's papers "Parliament has no competence to decide on an agreement signed with a foreign country", we wonder whether it is the same 'Somnathda' or some senile person talking. How can communists fall so much and why? At this rate you will take thenation down and We, the People, will NOT allow you to do it. Please read the following and recover from your insanity.

Dear Mr. George Fernandes:

Your barb "The Prime Minister has betrayed the nation by continuous bluffing... and if it were China, they would have settled it with one bullet in his head" takes the cake. Read below what a learned American has to say. George, please ensure that this N-deal does not come through. Get the sick man out from the PM's chair if he does not listen. Incidentally, I get fresh news that to prevent preplanned attack on Iran, the "United States Military Flag Officers have placed the alleged Vice President Richard Cheney under arrest". Now the noose should tighten around the neck of George Bush Jr.
Down with N-Deal with USA.

Best wishes

Dear Leo:

I am very glad that you liked my recent article on How Presumed Terrorists React to US Belligerent Policies. I think you were very wise in circulating this article to all those on your mailing list, especially to top political Indian leaders.

The US goal is to have wars constantly going on around the world, one after another and even simultaneously. The method used is to create fear in government officials to the point of paranoia. Once this is achieved, the US will be able to bring to the various heads an leaders of governments under its full control. Let us keep in mind that the US is a great capitalist country that harbors the most lucrative business inthe entire world. This is the shameful and satanic weapons industry.

While the US has been the most vocal in the world against North Koreaand Iran about the possibility of having a nuclear bomb in the future, this emerged most dangerous nation on earth proceeds to make nuclear deals with Pakistan and India. This would give the US the opportunity to see a nuclear holocaust sooner or later developing in Central Asia.

How can a nuclear holocaust develop? It's simple. You have to furnish nations within reach of each other, if possible, with nuclear weaponsso that they could use them when the time arrives!

This is very easy to see, realize and understand if we were to havemerely one ounce of common sense.

Moreover, those Indian political leaders that are accepting the notion of a nuclear deal with the USA need to have their assets and financialresources thoroughly examined. Only God knows how much money by way ofbribery they may be receiving from American sources to be fully cooperative in this outrageous, demonic, and disastrous venture! At this stage of history, every country needs to have politicians and leaders in particular who firmly believe that the first gigantic and genuine step to a permanent peace would start with the total abolition of all nuclear weapons followed afterwards by an international program ofdisarmament and arms control.

Keep up the good work. The tremendous good you are doing for India, the continent of Asia and the whole world, as a matter of fact, cannot betaken lightly.

Very good article Charles.... I am circulating it, as usual, to create the desired awareness. According to me the ONLY terrorist country in the world is USA. Sooner the politicians of the world realise it, and distance from that decadent country, the better it will be for the entire world.

But, as you have noticed with concern, our Govt. is insisting on signing a N-deal with it, which is not good for India. India, as you and I agree, should become the Leader of the World, but if it goes ahead with N-deal, it will become a slave of US. Hope better counsel prevails and the Indian Parliamentarians reject the unilateral agreement purpotedly signed by the Prime Minister of India without the nation's consent.

For being a friend of India, I recommend your name for Padma Bhushan for international understanding while forwarding this letter to VVIPs mentioned in the CC and BCC.

I hope they listen to the voice of sanity and recover early to emergewinner by unsigning N-deal with USA.

With warm regards, Leo

HUMAN RIGHTS

HUMAN RIGHTS

By Dr. Leo Rebello
World Peace Envoy,
Bombay

"Man was born free, and yet everywhere he is in chains" this profound quote from Jean Jacques Rousseau sums up the issue of Human Rights so profoundly.

It was in 1948 that the UN Declaration on Human Rights was adopted in Paris and, ever since, 10th December is being celebrated as Human Rights Day. In all these years, inspite of UN handicap (the biggest criticism of UN is that it has become a doormat of US, and saddled with rampant corruption) some issues have been resolved. The milestones are :-

1) Awareness of the rights and conditions of indigenous and tribal populations. However, inspite of tremendous technological progress, Indians of North America, Tribals of India, Chakmas of Bangla Desh, the Aborigines of Australia, Maoris of New Zealand, Hilly Tribes and Nomadic Tribes remain where they were. Worst affected are the Nomadic tribes (Gypsies) because they do not feature in the Census, many do not even have an identity and some are even labelled as criminals (like Phase-Pardhis in India). But on a closer look, this Gypsy-spirit has kept the inherent human nature intact. Being close to nature, they live simply, and consequently they are the most evolved people. Nomadic Tribes do not hoard, they do not talk of Lifeboat Ethics (like a selfish American who consumes equivalent of 50 persons from the third world countries), they have no aspirations to colonise the Moon or Mars, and they do not invade any territory -- infact we need to learn from them to prefer Freedom to Death.

2) Torture remains the major issue in normal times, in war-torn areas, in terrorist infested parts of the world. Inspite of several human rights resolutions, conventions, laws, courts that is the biggest blot on Humanism. It is a shame, that the Police and Army of even the so-called civilised countries do "research and experiments" on how to torture people without leaving tell-tale marks so that the perpetrators like the CIA, KGB, Mossad and their counter parts in other parts of the world can save their skin. Torture in Guantanamo prison has attracted the world attention to the sordid goings-on there. But the mad men care a damn about world opinion.

3) Death Penalty -- this grotesque practice has been banned in about 130 countries, but it is still being practiced in some 70 countries. India is one of them. In that decadent country called the USA, electric chair has been replaced by lethal injection. Encounter Deaths is an illegal extention of that same sick psyche. The condition of death row prisoners is another issue. They are dumped in solitary confinement, food is denied to them, they are beaten up, medical aid is rare to come by, family members are not allowed to meet them.

4) Conscientious objection to military service. Compulsory military service (or conscription) is still being practiced in US, UK, Israel and other so-called democratic countries. The first principle of democracy is informed choice and the Right to Say No. When young people are drafted into a compulsory military service, the entire future generation is programmed into "controlled populace" to legitimise that which is inherantly wrong -- to keep the arms and armies going, which have created more problems.

5) Child Soldiers -- if compulsory military service is unnecessary, drafting children and women into killing fields is morally decadent. But religious bigots, the minorities who feel insecure, the terrorists, the secessionists and even some revolutionary armies draft child soldiers "to defend" their "just cause"(read insanity). This is worse than the Child labour, because you are denying the child to grow naturally, play, love, trust, feel secure and safe. The children growing with mistrust will naturally be deviant or criminal, unless they evolve later spiritually.

6) The Right to Housing is as important as the Right to Food, the Right to Clothing, because it is a component of Right to Life. But when slums are razed by bulldozers without providing alternative accommodation, when basic amenities are not provided to slums, when women have to wait for the darkness of the night to defecate because there are no toilets, when there is no drinking water, and majority of people live in that condition, then what progress or development paradigm are we talking of.

7) The Right to Religion and Belief - is a negative right. It is a double-edged weapon. Though we must eliminate all forms of intolerance and respect beliefs of others, willy-nilly, we agree to several practices which are not evolutionary. For example, Indian women working in Iran Air office in Bombay, have to wear burqa. In other words, writ of Iran's backward Mullas runs in progressive India, while our secular Govt. and women's organisations look the other way in the name of tolerance. Many religious dogmas and practices enslave people leading to clash of civilisation. Castes, which have now become so rigid, because we have "recognised" them, themselves, become an instrument of tyranny. Practices like menstruating women not allowed to enter temples is unreasonable, that widows cannot marry or they should shave their heads and wear white clothes, or people belonging to scheduled castes should not draw water from community well (decadent Hindu practices), or women should cover themselves from head to toe and she can be discarded by uttering three insane words talaq, talaq, talaq (Muslim practice) are a shame on 21st Century civilisation.

8) The Rights of Women and their condition is a very important right. Because, women constitute half the population. They nurture the future generation. If the woman is naked, insecure, tormented, hungry, in jail, or has to sell her body to make a living, then it automatically percolates on her progeny.

9) Systematic rape - is rampant in many homes, societies where women are considered as inferior and an object of pleasure and especially in war torn areas where sexually starved soldiers heap untold miseries on the weaker sex. Special Army Acts which give uncanalised powers to the hungry wolves (in protector's attire) make matters worse. Some of these old laws fly in the face of humanity and negate the very resolutions, protocols or international laws that the Govts are signatory to and evolved persons have fought to guarantee equality before law.

10) Human Rights Defenders are always under watch. They are not wanted by those in power, and have to undergo humiliation, threats, false police cases or outright abuse, assault or elimination. So, whistle blowers protection is another issue that has assumed importance.

Hunger and Right to Food should get priority because more than 2/3 of the world population goes hungry, mainly in Africa and India. But it is largely neglected. 20% of food stocked in Indian grannaries is wasted; another 15% is eaten or destroyed by rodents, while poor people starve. Ration shops that are meant to provide subsidized food and kerosene to cook the food are centres of extortion for politicians. Families in places such as Rajasthan, replete with Palace Hotels, where foreigners come to frolic and have camel and elephant rides, still have to practice rotating hunger and thousands of children every year die or are blinded by xeropthalmia due to insufficient nutrition. It is a shame that inspite of massive 'development' and modernization, we have not been able to eradicate hunger today. As long as 2% insane capitalists control 98% of the world's wealth, through organisations like World Bank (which is a private bank), WTO-GATT regime, and decisions are controlled at the world bodies like UN with veto power in the hands of conniving five, will human rights ever get priority?

Finally, RIGHT TO HEALTH is one issue that has not been answered at all. On the contrary, the UN or UN bodies have become the stooges of mercenary mafias. WHO is now known as "WHOre" since it makes mercury-laced lethal vaccines compulsory on children of the world. That has given rise to Autism (4 million cases in India alone), Cancers, AIDS, Polio deformities due to Oral Polio Vaccines. WHO has made it mandatory that the AIDS affected people should take Anti-Retrovirals (ARVs), which are known carcinogens. Codex, a sub-committee of WHO, consisting of junior persons like pharmacists, dietitians, so-called consumer activists and allopathic doctors, have now influenced several nations to enact back-door laws prohibiting even natural products like Honey, Garlic extract, Vitamin C, which are proposed for inclusion as Drugs. Tomorrow the idiots may legislate, "to eat vegetables and fruits you require Doctor's prescription" and later they may say "even a mother cannot feed her baby her milk till the Doctor certifies that her milk is safe", like they do in that mad country called USA, where if you refuse Chemotherapy or Anti-Retroviral Drugs for Cancers and AIDS, you can be jailed.

In India, the Drug and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisement) Act, 1954 prohibits even factual advertisements like "Lasona" (for unclogging blocked coronaries), "Diabetea" (for Diabetes), Medicines for Obesity, etc. or promotion of ageold traditional or natural remedies. Indian herbal formulations for AIDS Cure cannot be advertised; whereas, Glaxo, Pfizer, Novartis can freely advertise (even on television), and make it compulsory the consumption of carcinogenic ARVs for AIDS by creating scare. Likewise, by employing entire state machinery right from the President of India to Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India, to superstar Amitabh Bachchan and cricketeer Sachin Tendulkar to vouch for Polio Vaccines, of which they know nothing, the pharma mafia has taken control of our lives. We are being assaulted, raped, threatened, fudged, jailed, controlled and destroyed due to wrong laws passed without much thought.

Scientific and technological advances have led to moral decrepitude. Instead of evolving, Humanity is deteriorating. We may appear civilised outwardly, but inside we are still worse than animals. To evolve spiritually we need to revert to oriental wisdom of Vedas, Yoga, Vegetarianism, Gurukul system of Learning, Simple Living, etc. As Jesus Christ said, "Verily you are the salt of the Earth. If the salt has lost its flavour wherewith shall be salted".

Arise, Awake and Act now, for tomorrow the Earth itself may turn into a big graveyard due to the insatiable greed of a few spiritually decadent persons.

Dr. Leo Rebello's Frankspeak on Vatican's New Sins

The original deadly sins are: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride, as popularized by Dante Alighieri in his famous book Divine Comedy.

Now the Vatican has added 7 more new sins (March 2008): Causing Poverty, Causing Injustice, Paedophilia, Abuse of Drugs, Abortion, Environmental Pollution and Genetic Manipulation.

I suppose Vaccinations and other prescription drugs, which are force-fed to the multitude to keep them in compromised state of health would come under Abuse of Drugs as also Genetic manipulation.

The Vatican headed by Pope Benedict has given the right call at the right time in history.

I am happy to note that my meeting with him (in Nov. 2006) and gift of my books and later exchanges has partly led to this step in the right direction.

Dr. Leo Rebello

REPORT OF THE MEETING WITH THE POPE DR. LEO REBELLO & MRS. KASHMIRA REBELLO on November 15, 2006, at the Vatican

Our meeting with the Pope Benedict XVI was held on 15th November 2006 at about 12 noon. It was a part of the celebration of our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

The Pope came across to us as a friendly, unassuming, knowledgeable, sharp and sincere man. I spoke with him for about 15 minutes, inter alia, that the Church should not support condomisation of society and he promptly replied, "Yes, because AIDS is not caused by sex".

I also presented Pope Benedict my four books :

(a) "AIDS and Alternative Medicine",
(b) "Holistic Healing in Tropical Diseases",
(c) "Nature Cure and Yoga Therapy" and
(d) "Travesty of Life" - an anthology of 50 of my best poems.

After the visit to Rome (three days), we visited Pisa, Florence (both in one day), Venice (one day), by night train to Nice (one day), by luxury bus to Marseille (one day) - by ship to Le Frioul island, by Toy Train to majestic Notre Dame de la Garde (all this in Marseille).

Thence, via Ales, to Besseges (one day), after that to Lourdes (via Nimes and Tolouse/one night and day). It was raining heavily in Lourdes so the hotel in which we stayed provided us with a big umbrella free. From there we proceeded to St. Jean de Luz (two days). While in St. Jean de Luz we visited St. Sebastian in Spain, beautiful Biarritz (known as Basque Country and ate delicious Basque food). From there we went to Paris by fast train called the TGV. We were in Paris for two days. It was gloomy due to dark clouds and rain. Nevertheless we visited all famous places in Paris. Our last halt was Milan (two days).

In Paris we met Dr. Mona Gamal El-Dine (a film director). We reached her place on 23 Nov night and left on 25 Nov morning. 24 Nov was her adopted son Horus' 6th birthday and she had invited some guests at her place for dinner, in which we too participated. We had lengthy discussions on diverse topics during dinner. I explained the principles of natural medicine, we discussed world peace, sang and ate lavishly.

Thanks to good friends like Josef Hasslberger, Jean-Marie Breton, our stay in Rome, Besseges, St. Jean de Luz and Paris was complimentary. At other places, because of non-season, getting hotels was easy.

I am a regular traveller. I have delivered over 10,000 lectures in 63 countries. But for my wife Kashmira, this was her first trip to Europe. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience - TGV (which runs at about 300 kms per hour speed), Cisalpino Express (confortable night train), Malpensa Express, speed boat ride, luxury bus ride, toy train, good hotels and delicious local food, Eiffel Tower (the 3rd floor) and icing on the cake was First Class ride on Alitalia from Milan to Bombay because of upgrade.

Vaccination is not immunization

VACCINATION IS NOT IMMUNIZATION

http://www.healthwisdom.org/

Immunity is inbuilt -- it may be weak, medium or strong. If weak it can be built. For healthy immunity your blood should be 70% alkaline and 30% acidic. But because of the wrong food that we eat day in and day out this ratio is in inverse proportion. Impure blood then destroys the immunity and internal organs creating dis-ease state.

The lethal brew called the vaccinations made from disease cells and so many obnoxious ingredients do not build up immunity. Rather these vaccines are introduced to create more diseases. As I have said in my new doctor's oath, vaccinations are worse than rape. It is heinous and those who have made vaccination mandatory, like in USA and in the EU countries, are the mass murderers. Hitler pales into insignificance when it comes to genocide of small children due to vaccinations.

So many clandestine events are planned behind the closed doors of the medical laboratories which have a set agenda to follow, namely population control. For example, how many people (including doctors, parents, planners, politicians, advocates, administrators, consumer rights organisation) are even aware that now the required number of childhood vaccines has increased to dangerous levels. These are the weapons of mass destruction.

1980 20 vaccines

2003 40 vaccines

2004 53 vaccines

2005 58 vaccines

2006 63 vaccines

2008 68 vaccines

Why is this number going up every year and it is never reported or discussed in the media or in the parliaments of the nations? Earlier, vaccinations were given only to small children. Now they are recommended even to senior citizens and there are 73 vaccines for adults.

As a result people are getting sicker. Issues like, (a) Sudden Infant Death, (b) Autism, (c) Measles (d) Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine, (e) Flu Shots and Mercury in Vaccines, (f) Why infant deformities and deaths are increasing are deliberately not discussed.

New vaccines are being invented every year and routinely included in the "Mandated Immunization Schedule". Who has made them mandatory and on what basis? Money decides everything. See how Bird Flu scare is created and then inadequately tested or costly Tami Flu is promoted. But cancer and AIDS vaccine is nowherein sight. Because these two diseases are created by infecting bloodline itself.

Today, there are 68 vaccines mandated for use before a child is eighteen years old. And yet, our infant mortality rate and the health of our children are appalling. The incidence of both infectious diseases and degenerative diseases among Americans is skyrocketing. Allopathy is a pseudo science and allopathic vaccinations are based not on scientific premise but greed and more greed. The role of vaccinations over the past 100 years has been grossly exaggerated and the harm done has been carefully hidden from public view. Life-changing information is deliberately hidden by the immoral greed-driven industry. BBC recently removed the website on CAM. When I complained to them, they wrote saying they are improving it and it will be up again shortly. By the same tokenthe Modern Medicine website, which gives much more misleading and dangerous information is not removed, I countered.

Veggie vaccines, urine vaccines, homeopathic vaccines (nosodes) are never discussed even though they are cheaper, safer and without any side effects. Likewise, the role of good diet and nutrition, as also herbs, fruits and vegetables (God's pharmacy) is never discussed. Now you require a doctor's prescription even to buy vitamins and minerals, even though banned and bannable drugs are freely available off the shelf.

Wake up folks, wake up. In this information explosion age if you do not get proper information or if you do not use your common sense than you are an educated fool. If you wish to remain in fool's paradise that is your look out. But do not rape your children willy-nilly.

I would like to once again remind you of what I wrote in December 2007:

Like formal education stunts the mental growth of a child;

Like religions stunt the spiritual growth of an individual;

Vaccinations and Drugs stunt the growth of the wondrous human body.

Stay Free from this Unholy Trinity.

JOKE ON MAD COW DISEASE by Dr. Leo Rebello

An young American woman scientist doing research on Mad Cow Disease flies to Scotland to consult the world famous authority on Mad Cow Disease. As soon as she meets the old man, she shoots : "I know all about Mad Cow Disease, its origin, how it is caused, the danger of eating the infected meat, the tests, the medicines, the costs involved and all that. The only thing I do now know is Why the cow is mad?

The Scotsman asks to her consternation : "Have you got a boyfriend?"
The American lady replies, "What has that got to do with the mad cow?"
The Scotsman says : "Please answer the question, do not ask the counter question".
The American lady scientist answers meekly, "Yes".

Thereafter the following exchange takes place :
Scotsman : In your country how many times do you milk the cow?
American : Twice a day, Sir.
Scotsman : And how often do you mate the cow?
American woman : Once in six months, Sir.
Scotsman : Now tell me beautiful baby, if your boyfriend were to press your breasts twice a day, but made love to you once in six months, wouldn't you be mad?

DR. LEO REBELLO ON LATE BABA AMTE

Dear Dr. Vikas Amte and Dr. Prakash Amte:

I am so sorry to note that your esteemed father and friend of the poor and downtodden and Saint of Wardha is no more.
But he lived quite long and passed away with his intellect intact and died contented to see his sons, grand children taking his mantle ably.

As you know, I participated in the Bharat Jodo Abhiyanand some of my poems were used during thatCycle March from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

I am also enclosing a photograph of my visit to Anandwan, (Somnath, Hemalkasa and Tadoba National Park), etc.

Please convey my sympathies to your esteemed mother Sadhnatai.

Baba may have ceased to walk in flesh, but his spirit will be therein every thornless Rose that will bloom, in every heart of thousands of people that he helped and in all the students that he taught.

Recently there was a talk that he should be decoratedwith the Bharat Ratna, which of course the Govt. of the day did not heed as the myopic leaders cannot see beyond politicians for that highest honour.

Now if the Govt. were to honourhim posthoumously you should not accept it like Subhash Chandra Bose's family refused to accept it, because posthomous awards make no sense.

As Baba had rightlyobserved, "my Award lies in the happiness of thepeople whom I serve".

May his spirit keep guiding the future generation lacking inleadership, high ideals and humane vision.

In sympathy,

Subject: Public interest litigation on Kidney Racket

Ms Adeline Rodrigues
Prothonotary and Senior Master, Original Side
Bombay High Court, 1st floor,Fort,
Mumbai 32.

Dear Adeline :

I would like to know what is the progress on the following PIL that was sent to the CJ, RG, to you and the Respondents. This petition was drafted by me, before I left forUSA and Mexico, after studying Joseph's copious correspondence with various authorities overlast one decade, after we realised that all of them were hand in glove in protecting each othersince the charge was serious.

You will note that everything that we have said in the Petition has now come to true.Human organ transplant is a big racket and everyone is involved in it. Therefore, the last bastionof civil society, namely the High Court must intervene in this immediately.

The present CJ is in the news almost daily for being firm to enforce the law.

Please therefore bring this to his personal attention. This PIL is also within the ambit of the recent PIL guidelines issued by the SCI. Hence, this should be immediately taken up in the name of justice. Thanks for your cooperation and with best wishes,

Leo

SYNOPSIS

This is a PIL for damages to help lakhs of poor patients whose kidneys and other organs are removed clandestinely by the organ thieves in Govt., Municipal and other Hospitals, and launching a Public Trust for such helpless victims of organs theft. As an example the death of Petitioner’s wife is cited, which can be proved if pursued properly. This petition of an indigent, senior citizen may be turned into Suo Motu Writ Petition.

THE PETITIONER ABOVE-NAMED HEREBY RECORDS AND APPEALS TO THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE AND OTHER JUDGES OF THE BOMBAY HIGH COURT, FOR AN URGENT INTERVENTION

1.. The Petitioner, Mr. Joseph Fernandes, age 69, resident of 162-1, Orlem, Malad (W), Mumbai-64 is a friend of society, founder of Litigants Welfare Forum (Dr. Leo Rebello is now its President) and a law-abiding citizen.

2.. The Petitioner's wife was killed by the KEM doctors, suspected to be involved in the Organ theft racket, which is a very well-organised racket in which doctors, rich people, corrupt police and even some advocates, social workers, journalists, bureaucrats and politicians are involved and consequently difficult to crack, but not impossible if there is a will on the part of all those who are bound to protect the law.

3.. On 15-8-1997 a complaint was made to the Police Commissioner regarding death of Petitioner's wife to investigate and seal the records from KEM hospital. Till this day nothing has been done, inspite of several complaints in last more than 10 years.

4.. Principal Judge A. S. Aguiar of City Civil and Sessions Court, Mumbai, on 11th February 1998, vide no. 3227 of 1998, directed the Police Commissioner of Mumbai to investigate into the death of Mrs. Ancy J. Fernandes. Till date nothing has been done. This shows how the corrupt Police disregard even the Courts.

5.. For over a decade, inspite of regular follow up at various levels, no FIR is registered. If the FIR is recorded and proper investigations are carried out, the entire gang working "chori-chupke" with the help of private nursing homes owned by the Honoraries working in the Govt. and Municipal Hospitals, and gang of mercenary agents, social workers, pimps, police and politicians, will be exposed.

6.. The Petitioner reported the above criminal modus operandi of the JJ and KEM hospital doctors vide his letter dated 15-12-1995. Earlier instead of investigating the matter, corrupt police implicated the Petitioner in false cases, which were later thrown out by the court. Two years later the petitioner's wife died in suspicious circumstances at the KEM. If the Police had acted, this untimely death could have been averted. This devious racket is getting worse by the day since Courts do not take the white coat criminals or police to task.

7.. Vide letter of 12-9-1997 the Petitioner asked the Dean of KEM to supply medical and post mortem report as per the judgment of the Bombay High Court of 11-9-1996. Tampered medical papers and manipulated post mortem report was given after 5 1/2 months, after much harassment and because legal notices were served.

8.. Recently, the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police have arrested some kingpin in this Organ theft racket. But this is just a tip of an iceberg. It is about time, this human organ theft, which is growing menacingly, is put an end to, through a Court fiat, once and for all.

9.. Since the Hon’ble Judges of the High Courts have full jurisdiction to issue various Writs when fundamental rights of citizens are affected, this brief application is made in full confidence and with utmost good faith. If this request is acceded, the petitioner feels that Justice will at last be done NOT only to the petitioner who lost his wife, but also to thousands of other poor persons who are taken like goats to the slaughter houses by the butchers called kidney, liver, lungs, heart specialists, aided and abetted by agents, ward boys, nurses, advocates, police, politicians, etc.

10.. This petition is deliberately kept brief for quick understanding of the issues involved. As and when required, necessary documents will be produced to the Court or Court designated authorities or Court appointed Commission to investigate into this massive racket.

11.. This is the petition of an indigent, senior citizen who has suffered for long. Hence, this petition may be turned into suo motu writ petition for swift redressal. Dr. Leo Rebello, eminent medico-social worker, has agreed to represent the petitioner, pro bono publico and gratis. The Hon'ble Court may appoint an amicus curiae, to help it, this being an important matter.

12.. Copies have been served on the Respondents to save the Court's precious time.

PRAYERS

(a) It is prayed, that the Hon'ble Chief Justice may direct the Registrar General to number this Petition and list it for priority hearing.

(b) The Court may direct the Bhoiwada police to file FIR against the KEM doctors, in the suspicious death of Mrs. Ancy J. Fernandes, on 9-8-1997, due to removal of a kidney.

(c) Club this case with the present Organs theft case being investigated by the Crime Branch so that the KEM and JJ doctors involved in this racket are arrested and the gang operating in the government and municipal hospitals in cahoot with private hospitals, is busted once and for all.

(d) Time bound, Commission of Enquiry should be appointed, which will report to the CJ and accordingly the CJ may appoint a Bench of conscientious and sharp judges to dispose of this omnibus PIL.

(e) Adequate compensation to the Petitioner and his family for this untimely loss of his wife and mother of his children, due to culpable homicide, reputation, defamation and suffering of his family members.

(f) Formation of a National Foundation to help poor victims of organ thefts. This proposed Foundation consisting of eminent persons will educate, protect, rehabilitate, help those who have suffered or died due to this heinous act from the compensation granted by this Hon'ble High Court and funds generated from various philanthropic persons and institutions, social welfare board, international funding agencies, etc.

VERIFICATION

Verified and solemnly affirmed by Joseph Fernandes, resident of 162-1, Orlem, Malad (W), Mumbai-64 on this 14th day of December 2007, that whatever stated here-in- above briefly, is true and correct, and submitted for kind consideration of the Chief Justice and other Judges of the Hon'ble Bombay High Court as a suo moto writ petition in public interest.

COMMON VALUES IN DIFFERENT RELIGIONS

By Dr. Leo Rebello

www.healthwisdom.org

[Text of the speech delivered by Dr. Leo Rebello, World Peace Envoy, at the Salokha meet at the Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work, Mumbai, on 23rd March 2004 cover the values and teachings of 9 different religions of the world. They show the essential unity of human beings. This article can be used by teachers to enlighten the students, that all religions talk of the same thing and therefore we should not distinguish, disrespect or destroy people in the name of religion.]

In 1950, the Baha'I, proposed that 20th January be celebrated as the World Religion Day, promoting understanding and harmony between all religions. On this day, the world citizens believe that unity and equality cannot be established if we go on harping on the past hurts, but by concentrating on the future goals. World Religion Day emphasises common values in major religions, world as a single country, humanity as the citizenry and love as a common language.

While in school we learnt an experiment. All colours were painted on one side of the round disk. When the disk was rotated at high speed the colours merged into one – VIBGYOR turned into White. Today, while discussing the principles, practices and common values of different religions of India, let us not try to prove how our own religion is superior, like my son Robin did when he was small. He said our God must be superior, because he speaks English! That is communalism for you. But Robin’s communalism was innocent. When I explained to him that God speaks all languages and he is everywhere he did not ask another question till today. That is Humanism.

The Eternal values common to all religions are : Truth is one. God is one. Love is ultimate. Universe is one. There is plenty in this universe for everyone’s need, but not for everyone’s greed. Our blood is one (Muslim blood is not green and Hindu blood is not saffron, African blood is not black and European blood is not white). Our hopes, fears, aspirations, longings are one. And the ultimate truth is that Religion divides people instead of uniting and uplifting. Too much time has been wasted and too many lives have been lost in fighting over religion. The most important need of our generation is to rise above our respective religions and extend the arm of friendship and unity for all the people. That is what Salokha (amity) is all about. Let us build on this further in these two days so that more precious lives are not lost in communal carnage.

Through endless churning of the ocean came the nectar of the true, the good and the beautiful to make human life sublime. Through discussion comes undertaking, unity and peace.

Hinduism: Hindu Dharma called Vaidika Dharma (Vedantic origin) or Sanatana Dharma (that which is eternal). It is a way of life. By far the oldest religion, about 5000 years old. 860 million followers in India. Lays emphasis on: Truth, Godliness, Respect for Parents, Teachers and Guests, Kindness, Charity, Mercy, Abstinence from Evil Doing. Pinde Pinde Brahmande (in every atom there is universe), Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam (world is a family) are the cardinal teachings, which have stood the test of time.

Judaism: Concept of sin was given by Judaism. Sin means straying from the path of God. The famous 10 Commandments were propounded by Judaism. One God, Honour of parents and brethren. No killing, no stealing, no adultery, no false witnesses, no fighting with neighbours, etc

Islam: Submission, Surrender and Commitment. Lays emphasis on Prayer, Charity, Fasting during the Ramzan month. Christians fast during Lent. Belief in one God, Allah. Belief in one Message. Belief in a judgement day. Belief in God’s omniscience. Founder Muhammad and Qu’ran gives the code of conduct. Baha'u'llah, one of the prophets, goes beyond this by saying "The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens".

Taoism: Lao Tze the founder [604 BC, Chinese], which means old master. Talks of Life, Love, Light and Will. Produce, but do not possess. Act, do not expect. Enlarge, but do not control. Vital energy (teh) runs trough human body and it manifests in human consciousness through love and reciprocity.

Zoroastrianism: Ten centuries before Christ, Zoroaster (whose mother too was virgin) taught: Good thoughts. Good words. Good deeds. About 60,000 Parsis in India.

Christianity: Christ spoke of God’s love, mercy and man’s brotherhood. Christ condemned the rich and the greedy. He gave hope to poor and the meek. Ten Commandments from the Old Testament are adopted. Love my neighbour, love thy enemy, give another cheek are original teachings of Jesus Christ for an ideal world. About 30 million Christians live in India.

Sikhism: Founder Guru Nanak wished to combine the best in Hinduism and Islam. One God – Sat Nam. Righteousness. No idol worship or caste. Guru is needed to reach the God. Love, Goodwill and Understanding. Share what you earn with the less fortunate.

Jainism: Right belief. Right knowledge. Right conduct. Ahimsa (non violence). Non injury by thought, word or deed. Respect of Life.

Buddhism: Monastic religion. Founder Gautama Buddha. Eight fold path leads a person to Nirvana. Right View, Right Resolve, Right Speech, Right Conduct, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Recollection and Right Meditation. Eight million Buddhists in India.

Humanism: Humanism believes that orthodox religions are cancer of the human spirit, which is boundless. Humanism is the ultimate goal of an evolved civilization. Human being is central. No distinction or discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, gender, status, language, etc. One Human Race, Earth is One and everything therein is meant for Sharing… Goal: World Parliament, sans dividing walls and dogmas.

Ekam Sat, viprah bahuda vadantitruth is one, spoken differently. To emphasise this further, let me recite to you my poem on Unity.

When we ran from the towering infernoof terrorism, we became one human race!
When the planes hit and the imposing buildingsfell, we ran in one direction – towards safety!

When we prayed together and lit candleswe longed for hope and became one faith!
When millions observed silence, and thousandsprotested against war, we spoke one language!

When we volunteered and collected blood, all religions mingled in our arteries and veins!
When guns were consigned to fire and hands were joined in unity, poverty ended, tears vanished!

When leaders united with the commoners and
sang together ‘World is One’, peace returned!

Like vipassana teacher, S.N. Goenka says, “I do not wish to convert people from one organized religion to another. I have no interest in any of these organized religions. My interest is in Dhamma – the truth, the teachings of all enlightened ones. If at all there is any conversion, it should be from misery to happiness, from defilement to purity, from bondage to liberation, from ignorance to enlightenment”.

DR. LEO REBELLO ON THE PADMA AWARDS

DR. LEO REBELLO'S TAKE OF 27 JANUARY 2008 ON PADMA AWARDS

What is the great idea of circulating bunkum like M.F.Husain being recommended for Bharat Ratna by NDTV when the list is out and that crank's name is nowhere in the list?

There is corruption in Padma Awards too. Like cash for OBEs was exposed in Great Britain, here too the Corruption in Padma Awards, Police Medals, Gallantry Awards should be exposed.

But who will do it?
Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai and Vinod Dua have been silenced by Lolly Pops of Padma Shri?
Awards in India largely go to the underserving and if the list is analysed, year after year, you will note that Teesa Setalvad type establishment people get them.
Medha Patkar, Arundhati Roy or yours sincerely type will never get because we talk straight. Corruption everywhere.

DR. LEO REBELLO'S RESPONSE TO LEADERS OF THE PARSI COMMUNITY

To Wapiz at wapiz@wapiz.com

Periodically you give full page advertisements in the Free Press Journal and I think in Jame Jamshed and Mumbai Samachar. My wife Kashmira (nee Baria of Cusrow Baug) and I read these with interest.

Apropos today's two-page advertisement in FPJ, we have following few relevant questions which please answer pointwise, accurately, briefly and clearly.

1.. Where does Zoroaster say that conversions should not be allowed? Quote his words, if any, directly. No boring circumlocution and quoting from dubious authorities.

2.. Forced conversions are indeed cancerous. But, why should you object if someone, like Joseph Peterson, voluntarily wants to convert to your 'superior' religion?

3.. Since 1983, how many more juddin Navjotes have taken place and have all these been conducted by Dr. Kersey Antia? If not, why is your tirade against him alone, especially since "he was trained at the M.F.Cama Athornan Institute at Andheri and was trained into a full-fledged priest with sound knowledge of our religion and history".

4.. If he has sound knowledge of your religion and history, as per the above quote, how can Khojestee Mistree debunk his Argument for Acceptance? This flawed blitzkrieg of WAPIZ is like
(a) HIV-AIDS racketeers NOT accepting the truth that HIV has not been identified;
(b) that it is an old chronic disease which was called Oja-kshaya in Ayurveda, Vettai Noi in Siddha and Al-Zabool in Unani; and
(c) insisting that ONLY carcinogenic anti-retroviral drugs will prolong life,
(d)while debunking other experts as quacks and only themselves as experts. I call such experts as one disease specialists, like you styling yourselves as true inheritors and protectors and others as despoilers.

5.. What happened to Adv. Bergis Desai who was leading a Reformist Group in the 70's and who, now I am told, is with WAPIZ? If it is true, how a Reformist became an Orthodox again?

6.. Some one called Shirin Mai (internet savvy granny) writes : "... There are seven Vada Dastoorjees at the present time -- All of them reside in India ONLY!! ... Others, anywhere in the world, are self styled and have no legitimate claim to such a title." Does this make any sense? Like Pervin Jehangir pointing out the difference between Vahujote and Navjote. Are the rituals more important or the principles?

7.. Parsi/Zoroastrians came to India (Sanjan in 785 AD). It is here that three conditions were imposed on your community by Raja Jadhav Rana, impressed by the 'sugar-dissolving-in milk' experiment. Accordingly, you have followed the 3 conditions set for your integration in India, namely, :
(a) Parsi women to wear saris;
(b) Your community to learn Gujarati while retaining your own language;
(c) Explain your religion for which your ancestors travelled this long distance with so much hardship.

Now tell us where your religion prohibits or the good king prevented you from conversion?

Besides, Kersey Antia is not alone in his averment that Conversions can be allowed in Zoroastrianism. Even Meher Master-Moos of Zoroastrian College advocates that voluntary conversions can be allowed. You will immediately jump saying she is not the authority. Cut the crap, answer the main question -- are conversions in Zoroastrianism prohibited or not? She was ready to convert me to Zoroastrianism, like Cardinal Simon Pimenta had sent a special emissary to suggest that I convert Kashmira to Christianity. Since we abhor any religion, we did neither, and got married under the Special Marriage Act, and we are quite happy for that.

Parsi Zoroastrians in India (and since they are concentrated in Mumbai) make so much noise even about entry of non-Parsis into their Fire temple, which no one else does. Because, a House of God should be open to all. You should also note that Fire purifies. Some of you saying that Holy Fire will be defiled if non Parsis are allowed in the Fire Temple is irrational and an insult to your Maker who has gifted you with Man's superior brain.

Your stand reeks of orthodoxy and you discriminate; because if a Parsi/Irani man were to marry a non-Parsi, the wife can stay in Parsi colony and children can have Navjot and other Zoroastrian ceremonies. But if a Parsi woman were to marry a non-Parsi she cannot perform Navjote of her children or stay in a Parsi colony. When India's secular Constitution guarantees gender and other equalities, this stand of yours amounts to discrimination and hence is bad in law. When King Rana's vision was to integrate you in India, to which your high priest agreed, why are you now creating your own decadent rules and causing obstruction to natural growth of culture and civilisation?

Be wise. Otherwise, like Dinosaurs you will soon be extinct !!!

With best wishes,
Dr. Leo Rebello

DR. LEO REBELLO'S VISIT TO MEXICO & THE USA

From 19th December 2007 to 8th January 2008, I flew about 115 hours, covering over 100,000 kms, criss-crossing almost entire USA. Eventhough highways in America are very good; everyone flies, it being a huge country. The only part that I travelled by road was Tucson to Hermosillo in Mexico and thence to Kino Bay, and back to Sedona and Phoenix and locally at every place that I visited -- about 6000 kms.

Mexican consulate created hassle over granting of visa inspite of me having 10-year validity, multiple entry B2 US visa and other visas on my passport, showing my status of frequent traveller. Finally they gave me a one month multiple entry visa, which was not even checked on the Mexican border, when Jim Humble, an American drove me through the border check post. Mexican police casually asked, "Any Guns?" "I would like to buy one" I joked. It occurred to me that the Mexican police were only looking for making quick bucks, because they know Americans carry guns, which are sold to Mexican drug mafia. "On a holiday here"? Yes, I replied. "Enjoy" was the response. If I had known this earlier, I would not have wasted my time, money and energy on fighting to acquire the Mexican visa on which 10 days and Rs.2000 were wasted.

While going from US to Mexico by road, no body checks visas; while returning from Mexico to US there is heavy checking on American side and the border is closed between 10 pm and 6 am. With security cameras, high fences, heavy gates, automatic rifle wielding sentries, ferocious looking sniffer dogs, it creates a formidable picture of control. Yet thousands of Mexicans cross over to US in search of jobs.

Americans in general are outgoing, friendly and trusting like us, though the US Govt. is trying to create fear psychosis in them and they are not very intelligent to know or protest against the oppressive controls unleashed under the Patriot Act. At every American airport, there is mindless heavy security. If really there was terrorism in the world, as is made out, American airports are easy targets for various reasons. For this idiotic security every flying passenger is burdened with US$5 fee (I call it security madness tax) and they have created a separate authority for the same, called the Transportation Security Administraton (TSA). If you do not have TSA locks, which can be opened with a master key, then even checked baggage should be kept open, says one of the rules. Who has made such a rule and why the Americans blindly adhere to that stupid rule is beyond semblance. The important question that comes to mind is: if the authorities do not trust the law-abiding passengers, how can we trust them with our open bags, especially when we know that the USA is the No. 1 terrorist in the world? 98% Americans keep their bags open to avoid hassle. Imagine, in India, if we kept the checked-in bags open what would happen. 70% Americans travel light eventhough they are obese, because for airport trolleys you have to pay 3 dollars and there are no porters to help, except for old and infirm, for whom very good arrangements exist. Hermosillo, a sleepy little town of some half a million inhabitants, about 200 kms from US border, being desert land was not so cold. Mexicans are warm, friendly and caring. Their food too is good and cheap as compared to insipid and costly American food, which I would describe as GIGO - 'garbage-in, garbage-out'. That explains why most Americans are sick to the bone. Their health care system too is on oxygen !!!

In USA, I visited Nogales (Spanish speaking, small town dotted with small bungalows, bordering Mexico), Tucson (beautiful airport and town), Phoenix (the airport here is user-friendly and the town has an old world charm), Sedona (spiritual mountains) in Arizona; Spokane in Washington State; Coeur d'Alene in Idaho; Denver, Lakewood and imposing Mount Vernon (known as Red mountains where Dinosaurs moved freely millions of years ago) in Colorado; Huntsville in Alabama, Tampa in Florida and Los Angeles in California. I also flew over Grand Canyon twice (vast stretches of table land on Grand Canyon are good for playing boring games of Golf or five-day Cricket matches), saw strange formations in the Black forest and marshes below, and the white cover of ice everywhere, very gloomy. I touched Seattle and Charlotte airports twice for change of planes. I could have gone out for brief sightseeing while waiting for planes, but all American towns look alike. Nothing exciting like in Beijing, Moscow, Singapore, London, Paris or Rome.

I stayed in the beautiful bungalow of Prof. Noor Gilani in Huntsville, Alabama. Noor, originally from Gujarat India, was born in Africa and now a US Citizen, works for NASA, like 70% population there works for NASA. Dr. Charles Mercieca, retired Professor from Alabama University, organised a VIP visit for me to the Space Research and Rocket Centre.

Charles plays piano like a maestro, writes bold articles, drives his car as if driving a sports car, talks with the enthusiasm of a collegian, exercises regularly at the swanky Riveira Fitness Centre, shops at Costco (the biggest departmental store in USA -- you can shop there only if you are a member) and talks of living over 100 years. He took to exercising after the first heart attack. Now, he says, his heart runs like the BMW engine. He is the President of the International Association of Educators for World Peace, of which I am the World Peace Envoy.

Charles, Noor, Mahdood Khan, a Pakistani working for NASA, and self, had invigorating discussions on the grand farce called American elections, how to replace the decadent UNO, Global warming, whether India should sign the N-deal agreement or not. We all unanimously felt that the N-deal agreement with USA was not in the overall interest of India or the Indian subcontinent. I also expounded my World Parliament idea as the President of World Constitution and Parliament Association. They wanted to know how it was different from Neocon's One World Order. I explained them the basic differences and asked them to read the Constiution of World Parliament and another document on World Problems and World Solutions.

Christmas was celebrated in Idaho with Ingri Cassel of 'Vaccination Liberation' and her husband Don Harkins, Editor and Publisher of The Idaho Observer, over cake, exotic home made wines, and hot meals prepared by Ingri in consultation with me, as she knew that I do not eat meats. The couple lives in a big log wood bungalow on a five-acre land. They have Sauna cabin, which is heated with firewood. I had Sauna with Don and then electrifying ice rub in sub zero temperature. They also organised my lecture on 10 Commandments of Health at a huge shop called Shabby to Chic, selling beautiful things made by various artists from discarded junk. The New Year was ushered in with 92-year young Prof. Phiip Isely, his 56 years old wife Eli and five other couples, at the Mount Vernon Country Club in Colorado.

In Florida, I was the Guest of Carol Roberts, MD, who interviewed me on the Tampa Radio on 24th December. The tape of my live talk is available to anyone interested in listening to it. Carol, who runs Wellness Works in Brandon and Sarisota, had visited me in Bombay about 10 years ago. She was holidaying in Rajasthan and came across my magazine Amrit Manthan (journal of holistic healing). She liked it so much that she travelled all the way to Bombay, especially to meet my family and me and had spent a day with us. Dr. Roberts has a nice spacious house by the lake. She has designed a 'Freedom band' for women. No, no, it is not a chastity belt, but a band to be tied around the wrist and which contains pockets for car keys, ubiquitous credit card, some cash, emergency medicines, which she thinks will do away the nuisance called the purse. I told her jokingly that women in India keep these things in a small wallet between boobs and asked her to re-design the bra, which Cleopatra had invented and which women's liberation in the sixties and seventies had discarded. Bras are returning now with a vengeance since more and more American women are realising how 'ding-dongs' dance when not held in Kanchuki (Sanskrit for bra).

Everywhere I stayed with friends, who received me warmly at the airports and dropped me back personally, treated me to good food knowing my taste. In Sedona, I stayed in the imposing mansion of Archbishop Larry Jensen and his second wife Glenda Green, writer and painter. In America, practically everyone has a second partner. It is live-in 1234 and out you go by the door over silly differences and false notion of independence!!!

In Alabama, one day we ate an Indian buffet dinner -- 10 dollars per head, inclusive of taxes. At least 30 tasty dishes were on offer. Needless to say the restaurant was full. An Indian family, originally from Hyderabad, runs it. They said they get their ingredients from India. On another day we had Chinese buffet dinner. Again rich spread and cheap. In Tampa and California, I was treated to Thai food; in New York it was Gujarati home cooked food and Lebanese food at the street cart while sightseeing. The Gujarati friend, Praful Lakhani, who resides on Long Island in a 10-bed room bungalow, was surprised that formal Americans allowed me into their homes. When I told him that barring two (Roberts and Mercieca, whom I knew for long) all others I was meeting for the first time, he said, "your name should be entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for this".

Americans love their dogs and cats more than they love their neighbours or their soldiers fighting a losing battle in Iraq, Bible in one hand, gun in another. So, they have dog schools, dog houses, dog fashion shows, dog cookery books, dog massage parlours, dog mating corners (like smokers' corners at the airports) and consult psychiatrist for dog depression. I jokingly asked one of the dog lovers, "what is the religion of your dog?" He quickly jogged away with his dog. According to American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, as reported in Costco Connect, this year an estimated $40.8 billion will be spent on pets -- more than Americans spent in 2007 on airfare ($35.5 billion) or $46.4 billions they spent on nursery, elementary and secondary schools.

While in California, I watched an excellent animation film Persipolis (on an Iranian woman) in a theatre and strolled on the clean Santa Monica boulevard with hostess Sascha Sarnoff, who works with American prisoners. Also met Christine Maggiore (who had last attended my workshop on AIDS and Alternative Medicine, in Durban, in 2000), who gave another horrendous tale of AIDS mafia's manipulations. Christine's 3-year old daughter died last year due to wrong treatment given to her for ear infection. But to cover up their mistakes, the doctors prepared a false postmortem report saying she died due to AIDS related pneumonia and accused Christine of negligence, taking advantage of the fact that Christine was diagnosed HIV positive in 1992. They wanted to penalise her for refusing to take Anti Retroviral drugs. They could not succeed in jailing her because Christine's both children as also her husband who married her inspite of knowing her HIV positive status are all HIV negative. Dr. Md. Ali Al-Bayati's statement challenging the postmortem report also helped. Incidentally, Dr. Al-Bayati is the author of GET ALL THE FACTS : HIV DOES NOT CAUSE AIDS.

I did not like New York/Manhattan at all. It is full of ugly highrise buildings, many of which are an eyesore; it is crowded, it is polluted (not as much as Mumbai or Delhi though) and it is totally commercial. I would describe New York as a city on the run. Visited 85th and 102nd floor gallery of the Empire State Building, and all other famous landmarks, Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty -- got a special pass to enter the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty. Usually this pass has to be booked three days in advance for high security reason. But, Paula, a well-endowed security officer, on learning that I was a Yoga expert from India, gave me Statue of Liberty National Monument Pass. The view of New York, Manhattan, Long Island, and Ellis Island from the Pedestal of the Statue of Liberty is very panoramic. Incidentally, the Statue of Liberty was a gift from French people to Americans, and one of the architects and builders was Mr. Eiffel of Eiffel Tower fame.

My only regret is: I should have stayed longer in USA on this maiden trip so that I could have gone to Hawaii, Houston, Washington and Chicago, where too my friends were waiting to receive me. In that case, may be I could have seen the footprints of Dinosaurs in Jurassic Park in Colorado and met Dr. Ron Paul, the Republican presidential aspirant, about whom we do not hear much in India, but who is very popular with the American voters. Everyone, including yours truly wants him to become the next President of USA, because all other candidates (bar one or two) belong to the same gang of criminals - the Bilderbergar group, the arms mafia, the petro-chemical mafia, the Jewish mafia, the Masonic mafia, the CIA all of whom hold not only USA, but the entire world to ransom.
